Relationship between the Chinese Main Air Transport Network and COVID-19 Pandemic Transmission

The COVID-19 pandemic had an unprecedented impact on the civil aviation passenger transport industry. This study analyzes scale change and spatial distribution of Chinese main air network (CMATN) its role in early spread using a complex analysis method econometric model. result shows that CMATN is mainly located economically developed densely populated central eastern regions China. normalized degree, closeness, betweenness centralities node cities show overall increasing trend, indicating constantly improving. There was significant positive relationship between centrality cities, duration pandemic, number confirmed cases, networks were crucial pandemic’s spread. Furthermore, social economic variables such as GDP population higher levels development increased seriousness pandemic. Our findings are expected to supplement existing research serve point reference for prevention control.
